Day 1 — Friday, October 8
Depart from Holy Family in Rockford for the Solanus Casey Shrine in Detroit, with Mass, a guided tour, and time to visit the gift shop. We then cross into Canada for dinner and overnight in Niagara Falls.
Day 2 — Saturday, October 9
A boat tour brings us to the foot of the falls, followed by a visit to the Carmelite shrine with private Mass. In the afternoon we enjoy a tasting in Canada’s celebrated Niagara wine country, then visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima for Mass and a tour. Dinner and overnight in Niagara Falls.
Day 3 — Sunday, October 10
We travel to Lackawanna, New York, for Mass and a tour at Our Lady of Victory Shrine, home to the tomb of Venerable Fr. Nelson Baker, the “Padre of the Poor.” We continue to Toledo, Ohio, to visit Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Toledo.
Day 4 — Monday, October 11
Mass and a tour at Notre Dame before we begin the drive home.
Cost
$1,999 per person, double occupancy. Single occupancy: add $499.
Included: Round-trip coach transportation from Holy Family in Rockford, hotel accommodations, breakfast daily, 2 dinner’s w/wine, all tours (churches, shrines, the falls, and the wine tasting), gratuities for the guide and driver, daily Mass, and the accompaniment of a priest and a Catholic guide.
Not included: lunch daily and travel insurance (which we recommend).
