Just a few of the sites we will visit are: St. Mary Major, St. Peter’s Basilica, Basilica of St. John the Lateran, St. Mary Major, Santa Scala, Pantheon, Colosseum, Vatican Museum, Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, Trevi Fountain, Santa Maria Sopra Minverva, Church of the Gesu and the Catacombs! In Assisi we will visit all of the sites surrounding St. Clare, St. Francis and the tomb of Carlo Acutis.

Day 1, March 11: Overnight flights to Rome.
You may purchase flights on your own or wait for our group airfare to be announced in late Spring 2025.
Day 2, March 12: Arrival in Rome – Assisi.
Upon arrival in Rome, you will be met by your tour guide and driver, who will be with you throughout this journey. We by pass Rome, and head north to Umbrian hills and the beautiful twelfth century town of Assisi. Nestled on the side of Mt Subiaco, Assisi was home of St. Francis and St. Clare. This will be our home for the next three nights. Welcome dinner and over-night in Assisi.
Day 3, March 13: Assisi.
After breakfast we will visit all significant sites around this magnificent town, including the Basilica of St. Francis and the tomb of St. Francis. We will celebrate Mass here. Visit the Basilica of St. Clare and see her incorrupt body lying in repose. Enjoy free time to stroll the medieval streets. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.
Day 4, March 14: Assisi – Gubbio – La Verna – Assisi.
This morning we will head to the lovely town of Gubbio. Through the power of God, St. Francis freed the town from a terrible and fierce wolf that afflicted it. After free time for lunch we continue to La Verna, the place where St. Francis received the stigmata in 1224. Return to Assisi for dinner and overnight.
Day 5, March 15: Assisi – stop and visit Orvieto, Eucharistic miracle– Rome.
Travel through the countryside to the Cathedral of Orvieto, which contains some of the most magnificent frescoes and a Eucharistic Miracle. After lunch (which is included today) we continue to Rome for dinner and overnight.
Day 6, March 16: Rome.
Today we will wake up in “The Eternal city” and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. You will receive the Pope’s blessing and pray the Angelus with him. This afternoon enjoy a walking tour of Rome’s spectacular Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Church of Gesu and Church of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7, March 17: Rome.
Today we will tour throughout Christian Rome visiting: Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni, Scala Santa, the Catacombs & Saint Paul Outside the Walls. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 8, March 18: Rome.
This morning we visit the Vatican Museums and Saint Peters Basilica. Later this afternoon we visit the Roman Forum and Colosseum. Farewell dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 9, March 19: Rome – Rome Airport.
After breakfast and heartfelt farewells, your group will leave by motor coach and transfer to the Rome FCO airport for return flights home. Arrivederci, Roma.
