Italy/Medjugorje/Greece Pilgrimage May 30 – June 9, 2024 

Thursday, May 30– Depart for your overnight flight to Bari, Italy.
Friday, May 31– Arrival into Bari, Italy. Mass & Group dinner. Overnight Nicolaus Hotel, Bari.
Saturday, June 1– Italy. Today we will tour St. Nicholas’ Tomb and church and then head to San Giovani Rotondo where Padre Pio lies in a glass coffin – his body is incorrupt. We will also visit the spot where St. Michael the Archangel appeared several times around the year 490 AD to the local Bishop near a cave in the mountains, instructing that the cave be dedicated to Christian worship and promising protection of his town of Sipontum from pagan invaders. Of course we will have a delightful Italian group lunch! Dinner on your own tonight in beautiful Bari, Italy.
Sunday, June 2– After Mass this morning, we will depart as a group for the cruise port where we will board the MSC Armonia Cruise Ship. This afternoon, enjoy the ship and all it has to offer! Dinner and overnight on board.
Monday, June 3 – Venice. Today we will visit St. Mark’s Cathedral where St. Mark is buried as well as the church where St. Lucy is buried. She is the patron saint of eye issues. No trip to Venice would be complete without a Gondola ride, a visit to the Rialto bridge, some shopping and a fabulous Italian lunch. Back to the ship for dinner and overnight.
Tuesday, June 4 – Day at Sea. Relax and soak up the Mediterranean sun or take advantage of all the fun activities & food the ship has to offer.
Wednesday, June 5 – Dubrovnik, Croatia. Today will be an amazing day as we start in Croatia and cross the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina and head to the sacred sites in Medjugorje, the famous Apparition Hill and the church of St. James the Great. We will have Mass & a wonderful Bosnian lunch. Father will talk about the Apparitions of Our Blessed Mother that many believe took place in this Holy Site. Back to the ship port for some shopping for Croatian items. Dinner and overnight onboard.
Thursday, June 6 – Montenegro. Today is a free day to explore on your own. There are many things to do & see in this unique country. If you would like to join an optional excursion, more info coming soon.
Friday, June 7 – Corfu, Greece. Today is a free day on your own or join the group in an optional excursion. More info coming.
Saturday, June 8 – Zakynthos, Greece. Today is one last day to explore yet another Greek island. We will have a 5pm Mass onboard followed by a farewell cocktail party to gather to say our goodbyes. Dinner and overnight onboard.
Sunday, June 9 – Disembark the ship. Flights home today.
