Join Fr. Finn and parishioners from St. Charles Borromeo this Advent on a prayerful and fun pilgrimage to Chicago on Tuesday, December 10, 2024!

Our first stop will be the breathtaking Basilica of Our Lady of Sorrows. Here you will learn about the fascinating history of what the Great Chicago Fire did to alter the lives of people from many parishes.

Next we will visit the National Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. At this national shrine you will be able to see Mother Cabrini’s incorrupt arm in a glass coffin in the altar, walk through a museum containing many of her artifacts and learn about what this extraordinary woman did for many of the poor and sick in Chicago.

Lastly we will visit and tour St. Mary of the Angels. Our tour will detail how this extraordinary church was saved by being purchased for only $20! This church is home to the longest aisle of any in the country. They have on average 3 weddings every weekend! We will be led in prayers and meditations by Father as we travel by coach bus from St. Charles Borromeo.

We will have a private Mass and tours at all the churches,  also allowing time for prayer. We will make a stop at the lively Time Out Market for lunch which offers many interesting culinary treats! This is a great way to get away from your busy schedule and prepare your heart for the coming of Our Lord this Christmas!

The price is $150 per person which includes transportation, all tours and tips.  We will depart at 7am and arrive back at church approximately 5:30pm. Spots are limited.
