Join Fr. Kaim on a unique pilgrimage as we explore what was once the heart of the Catholic Church in the Midwest. We’ll start in Louisville visiting the Cathedral of the Assumption for Mass and a tour. We will take an excursion out to the Ark Encounter (a life-size Noah’s Ark experience). Then it’s off to Bardstown, the original seat of the Diocese west of the Appalachian Mountains to visit the Basilica of St. Joseph, Gethsemani Abbey, (where the famed writer Thomas Merton lived) and several other interesting historical sites.
Throughout the entire trip we will visit distilleries on the famous Bourbon trail! Buffalo Trace, Angel’s Envy, Heaven’s Hill and more. We will learn how this part of the country became the Bourbon Trail and of course do lots of tasting. We will also enjoy a fabulous dinner with live music on an Ohio River Steamboat Cruise. The cost is $1739 per person, double occupancy or $2139 per person, single occupancy. If you would like to join the group flight and add your roundtrip airfare from Chicago (O’Hare), the price is $2139 per person (double), or $2539 per person (single).

Land only includes coach bus transportation in and around the Louisville, KY area, 4-nights hotel, breakfast every day, one lunch, River Boat dinner cruise, all tours, tastings, tips & daily Mass.
Air transportation includes everything the land only package includes, plus round-trip air from Chicago O’Hare and transportation to the hotel on the first day. We have only 25 spots available in this category that include air. It is first come first serve
